Microbrite® - Milled Feldspar

Our Microbrite® range of milled feldspar minerals are processed from pegmatite deposits at our mine in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
Known technically as alkali aluminium silicates our Microbrite® range exhibits high dry brightness (92%+) and low iron content (<0.20%). Valued for its inertness, acid resistance, UV resistance, scrub resistance and hardness (moh 6), Microbrite® is used in many countries in a range of industries including coatings, ceramics, welding electrode manufacture, plastics and rubber compounding. The Microbrite® range now includes an (S) series product that provides a unique higher silica content Feldspar for applications seeking even higher durability.
Micronized Products provides processing flexibility in tailoring a milled Feldspar to a customer’s ongoing requirement.
